Skipper is such a sweet little guy who is oh-so-ready to find his fur-ever family. Skipper is crate trained, but prefers to sleep in bed with his foster parents. His new family will need to be consistent with taking him out often and be patient with him while he is learning. Skipper is still working on his house training and currently wears a diaper around the house to limit the number of accidents. Skipper has lived with older kids and could be a great addition to a family with older, respectful kids. He possibly could live with dog-savvy cats with some training and proper supervision, but would probably do best in a cat-free home. Skipper currently lives with cats and thinks they are fun to chase. He can be intimidated by larger dogs but does well if they are mellow and aren't pushy with him. Skipper currently lives with other dogs and has been a respectful roommate who loves to play with the other little dogs, but also listens to them when they don't want to play with him. After a day full of fun he loves nothing more than curling up on your lap for cuddles and would love to be your little snuggle buddy. Skipper is the perfect mix of playful energy and cuddle bug personality and is looking for a home that will make him a true member of the family and take him for lots of walks. Once he feels comfortable around you, he loves to run around with his toys and have fun - small squeaky toys are his favorite! He is looking for a family that can be patient with him and let him warm up and settle in at his own pace. Skipper can be a little shy when meeting new people, especially men, but if got slow with him he warms right up and wants all the pets. We suspect Skipper is the father of the puppies. Skipper came to us after a good samaritan found him dumped in Clarksburg with another female dog and a litter of puppies. He has become his foster mom's little shadow and is happy to follow her around always ready for some playtime or cuddles. Skipper is the sweetest boy around who we estimate to be around a year old. Have you ever wanted your very own Toto? Meet Skipper!
